help understanding hdd

hi hope someone can help I have a h2s box with wooshbuild up to date version I have a 32g usb stick as a hdd in the back box everything works fine I have pecons installed but I have noticed that even if I don't have anything recorded that I only have 58 percent space left hope someone tell me why and how I can sort this kind regards and thanks in advance

You're more than likely using it for timeshift (pause, rewind etc).. that takes up quite a bit of space at times.
