i am trying to update tsmedia and keep getting an error message about a download error and now I have completely deleted tsmedia from my menu panel and plugins. How can i reinstall this and please if replying give a dummy version as i have no clue what some of the technical language is.

Hi I'm not sure what you mean when you say image sorry. And I've tried the tspanel plugin download and it says something like feed not available due to maintenance and it has always said this since I have had the box. I restored to factory settings and it still does not appear. I have very basic knowledge when it comes to this. I'm the switch it off at the wall for 10seconds and switch it back on lol
 
that leads me to wonder as image is old and non working is the patched image using the home of wos for updates?and if this is so could it damage box in the future,even genuine boxes have to keep up or have issues.?

It is openvix that I am using. I now have the blue screen with the vix spinning in the corner and has been doing so since i started this post. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
 
here is where problems come ,your box is a clone,but there are many image numbered versions need more info.box may have to reflashed if you were not using a usb setup in rear with swapfile?
 
It's easy to upgrade via ftp. There are loads of tuts all over the net for connecting via ftp and where to download the latest image.

Dude I dont know the 2s well. Just the 2+.

But id start by going to cloud-box'dot'net and into the 2 section and download the most recent bootloader and image.

You will have to set it up from scratch unfortunately if u dont have a backup.
or post a new thread requesting someone share their backup of a 2.
