Help with EPG on IPTV

Hoping someone on here can give me a hand. Recently purchased IPTV off my CS supplier. Installed it via putty using the script he gave me.

IPTV sections appeared after pressing EPG button on the remote and EPG data was there too no problem. Then last week he updated his bouqets and channel names to Sky-UK-Sports etc and all the EPG data disappeared! Running a manual scan on the EPGImporter doesn't fix the issue either. It shows as having read several thousand records but nothing ever populates in my programme guide!

Any ideas? I'm pulling my hair out here haha.
 
I am assuming you re-installed your script?

As moshibeth said, speak to your provider. Hopefully, he has kept the epg side of things up-to-date for you.

Thanks for all the replies. I've spoken with my provider and he keeps telling me EPG is being sorted and I should see it soon, but never do :-( I'm starting to think he's a reseller myself! I've tried re-installing the script, I've also started restart GUI and nothing appears.

He has sent me screenshots of the EPG data populated on whatever device he is using, but that isn't a ZGemma and I don't think he is going to provide me with a fix anytime soon. Is there anyhing at all I can do to manually pull in the EPG data? All of the channel names etc were renamed last night, but still not EPG data.

Yep a lot of the resellers don't have a clue how to maintain the service. They just in it for quick cash and move on. You need to be careful out there.
 
Baz, the best way is using eChanneliser. Loads of videos on here to help you. Quite a lengthy - but simple - process. You can create your own bouquets from your original source. Simply copy the epg listings from the UK channels on 28.2e (found within eChanneliser). That should sort your epg out for the next 7 days (just like you had before). The only negative with eChanneliser is that it only concentrates on the UK channels aswell as the european ones from four satellites. You won't be able to find any listings for US/CA or Arabic channels on there, unless you use xtream editor.

yep thats a reseller, unable to provide an epg on e2 box. it will show on the firestick or whatever device it is as somewhere somebody has added the data to the stream.
Panel side it takes 2 seconds to link it with the correct id. you cant do anything to your epg apart from manually doing it with echanneliser or xtream editor
 
Thanks for all the advice, really appreciate it. I'll get back onto the seller in the hope of an update, but in the meantime I will have a look at xstream editor and eChanneliser and see how I get on.
