Hi I have a current years gift that has been working for 9 months without fail then last weekend it went down. I couldnt figure it out and dumped the current cccam.cfg file and to my suprise there was absolutely nothing when I opened it in notepad.... i tried emailing my provider but he never gets back to me for some reason even though he has replied to others that I know.... turns out the server has changed and I have to edit the cline or nline (dont know what one I had) so I ran a test line on it and it works ok, but Im baffled as to where my working for 9 months gift cline or nline went..... anyone any ideas on how to get it?

Sound like your line provider is an idiot, ignoring you is a bad sign considering he's answering other peoples email. Can you not get hold of the new server details from the other poeple and load them yourself, this is if your username and password still works too. Also if you opened the Cccam.cfg file in notepad you should have seen something.

I tend to think you deleted the line in error when you dumped as lines don't just diappear, working or not.

Oh god no, I would never suggest anyone buy a line from Amazon or fleabay, always from this forum.

This way you can get a test line first and check the quality yourself plus it maybe cheaper. You just have to read in the forum of some users who purchased a 12 to 24 month line from Amazon and/or fleabay and it lasted a few months.
