This is just an idea i thought about at work...
I preffer to keep the area where the stereo is located in the saab standard and as you may know removing the cd player leaves you needing to put a blank tray in when you fit an aftermarket cd player. So heres my idea.
Keep the standard cd and tape player in the saab but have an after market stereo with aux and usb capabilities say in the glove box. Then hijack the output for the tape on the standard saab stereo and connect the aftermarket cd player to that so when you switch to "tape" on the saab stereo your actually selecting the aftermarket one and playing the usb or aux?
I know more thought needs to be put into this but its straight from my head lol
