Hey guys, hoping someone can help me out here.
So I have a pair of Arcnet PL3001a powerline network adapters that have worked great for almost 12 months.
My set up is: Router in the lounge with homeplug 1 plugged into the wall next to the router and homeplug 2 plugged in the kitchen (one room away).
They usually pair and connect no problem with no loss of speed.
They just stopped pairing. After many resets and failed attempts at re-pairing them, I tried plugging both homeplugs in the kitchen and they paired fine.
The kitchen and the lounge are on the same ring main so why would it work in the kitchen but not from the lounge. I have tried every socket in the lounge and they still wont pair.
I get the same results with a pair of netgear HDX101 powerline adapters too, so I know the arcnet plugs are fine.
Does anyone know what may be happening?
