Satellite hostname change

Hi I have changed my host name on the h7 to xbox however its still showing up in my modem as zgemma if anyone knows what Ive done wrong thanks

Reboot box and router and it should take effect

how/where did you make the name change?
have you checked in the box that it's still 'XBOX'?

mounts, mount manager, change hostname.... still says xbox.... rebooted both but still zgemma in modem

Have you tried editing /etc/hostname manually and then done a full reboot?

in the change hostname box, after you've typed in Xbox, have you clicked green button to save?

Thanks for the advice lads, Ive done all above now the modem is showing static with the mac address but still no xbox
