Lost all channels yeserday,done the math so thought i would get sky, used the ad link on here to contact them, now the fun starts i have been pushed here there and every where trying to get sky , wot a shite set up im shaw i will get it sorted just after N3 is hacked LOL:whacko:

Ive heard on the grapevine that you can get chiped sky-boxes. a friend of a friend has had one for 7 months now & no problems with it at all..
 
Dee we were gonna go with sky but decided to just pay £5.50 pm extra for a few channels - no sport coz it was far to expensive lol! would also have to have a horrid dish and more wires all over the house. Plus to have sky i had to have a new telephone line as they cant transfer my number from virmin so more wiring and extra money for a phone line (either sky or bt line) so gave up and stuck with what i know lol!

both vm and S are poop - they just want ya pennies and they wonder why people had free tv lol!
 
just got it sorted, im hd ready as of monday, always said i would get rid of virmin bb once the boxes went tits up, costing me another £14 for the channels i watch. that i can worry about need the sport and food channels thats all i watych.
 
Customer service seems to be a joke with all cable/sattelite Companies, they want you to sign up but not have any problems
 
TBH since i started paying again ( minimum of course :) ) we have had nothing but problems with apparently kids cutting cables, we can be off for just under 24 hrs ( how surprising) yet they dont give you any comp - which is why we are back within 24 hrs. I had less trouble when i had my SV boxes lol!
 
got it installed yesterday,still waitng for BB frm sky so still using vermin, but glad to be able to watch sport again and in HD.
 
LOL linny the only emails i get are virmin and crap trying to sell me viagra, with my other being only 22 i don`t think i need it.

the trick for me linny, is not to use the service providers email addresses, just use the free ones

well its a bit late now lol! ive had 1 of my main addresses since i was on dial-up about 20 odd yrs lol! oh plus ive given up the amount of hotmail etc addys ive had over the years, i forget my pwd's lol or back in the day if you didnt use your hm for more than 30 days - that was it gone!

dont tell me your to young to remember LOL! Dial up lol the good old days when you waited hrs for a picture to load. you only got an hour at a time and it could take that long to load a site at times, now we have 50mb BB and still people moan its slow at times.
How far we have come in about 20 yrs LOL
 
very true linny, i moan and i have 20 mb, as i have only downloaded files for boxes i don`t need any faster.
 
yh ive got 20 - was going to 50 but decided to keep my extra pennies. I moan when im trying to upload piccies and vids - it takes forever - i dont download much, but its the boys and their gaming that needs 50 - apparently lol! honestly kids dont know what its like to not have xbox live and the likes

Ah yes, oh for the days of dial up, i remember installing onto my computer at the time a really fast modem(so fast the telecoms company couldn't provide it) of 56k per second.
