How to add kodi plugin to extensions menu?

Any one know how to add kodi plugin to extensions menu (blue button)?

which file to edit or is there a plugin to add/remove plugins from extensions menu

Thanks in advance searched all over but only getting out of date info

I am currently running VU+ Duo2 with openvix latest installed and kodi 16.1

Not sure why you want Kodi in extensions. Personally I just added the Kodi Launcher Plugin to 'Plugins' and then edited my Menu>Setup>System>UserInterface>ButtonSetup to add a shortcut button to launch Kodi. works really well.
 
That was the plan to assign a button but I like my current remote button setup and don't have a button spare so it would be handy just to add it to the list on extentions menu.

I like the idea of adding a Plugin to a Shortcut button, didn't know you could do that.
I realise I am in the Vu+ Duo2 Support forum, but I assume it will work on my Mutant HD51
