How to backup 360 disk

I assume this topic has been covered along time ago but would like to know best method of creating backup iso and then burning to disk.
i have installed a unlocked drive in the Xbox. I have tried using Xbox backup creator to try and read from a optiarc ad-5280s which I believe has been modified to create Xbox disks but it unable to read disk contents.

To do this you need a DL (Dual Layered) disk reader in your laptop/PC then you can create back ups from disks onto your pc.
Same goes for burning, you need blank 8gb DL disks along with the DL disk drive to burn.
