Hi guys,
I bought a domain from godaddy and they fleeced me, I thought I was getting the site hosting as well, alas, no, so moved my site to a free host and have put in place dns forwarding to the new host. all seems to be working fine when you do a search for the site.
How ever when running a few tools on the SEO optimisation etc. then I get the following error.
I've tried adding this code to the header of the site link rel=“canonical”href=“blahblah.co.uk"

It's confusing me.
Now I can add the little piece of code to the header of the site or I can log into godaddy and do a 301 re-direct, but they told me that was wrong and to leave it the way it is.

what you guys think?
Thanks
