I currently have 2 active sky boxes but looking to cancel and I have been looking at Zgemma. What do I need to get it working? Is it possible to record on these just like with Sky +?

You need your sky dish and the coax cables that come off it to connect to the box. If you have 2 x cables you can watch 1 channel and record another. You also need a usb to flash the box and a usb/hdd for your epg and recording. Don't buy a pre flashed box and pay extra just buy the box and install one of the builds on here.....personally I would use wooshbuild as it's dead simple to flash and use, there is a full step by step guide on here. Finally you need a line to unscramble your channels, but don't buy from eBay etc unless you want ripping off, go with a trusted seller there are plenty on here that will help. It might sound like a lot of work when you first start but you will get there, loads of help on this forum if you get stuck....Good luck!!

Cheers for your reply. I have seen a plug and play one for £120 which seems cheap since the box it self is £85. How much usually are lines? Also, could you not use the same USB to flash & for epg/recordings

You can pick up a box for about £70-£80 and then just flash it yourself. It really is simple to do, but if you don't feel confident in doing it then a plug and play is a good option. Same usb/hdd for flashing and recording on is fine it all depends what size you want....How much recording etc. I use a 128gb usb for epg and recording which works perfectly but again it's depending on what you want to record etc.

I feel confident doing it. How much roughly are lines? I just want to see if it's worth buying a plug and play one

Do your research on here. Everything you need to know is availabe in this forum. No one is going to hold your hand without you doing a bit yourself. If you buy plug & play off eBay, you'll end up back here anyway when it all goes tits up.
