Initial setup: Not finding a signal

So i have a Zgemma, and managed to set that up eventually, and my vu+ has been flashed with Openvix by the place i bought it from

i have set up the box in much the same way as the zgemma, but when i try and find a signal, it intermittently flashes a good signal, the lock checkbox ticks, and then it disappears again

i also have on the initial screen, in the top right hand corner where it says openvix...a "please wait" message

i think the main problem might be the signal issue

any help would be great
 
Change the leads over to see if the problem follows the leads or stays with the same tuner.

Pop your zgemma in to double check also.#
Just need to troubleshoot down to eliminate which the problem is (the lead itself or tuner)
 
I've just returned my duo 2 sat tuner doing the same thing. Seen it on few forums. Wonder if a bad batch???!
