initialising storage device frozen

install base build wooshman to which ive done before

but this time its stuck on initialising storage device at 95% and not moving

can i just reboot box and try again without knackering the hdd up

its just came up with a error

32768 had troble writing out super blocks

Initialize again should be fine, IF the drives fails again or is not detected quick format the drive & try again, also worth checking the mount is correct in mount manager once finished & rebooted.

If its an old drive or one thats been used for other things before you may need to do a little maintenance to prep it before you can initialize, you may even need to run disk management within Windows to get your PC to detect it to allow formatting but Im thinking of possible problems before they arise!

If you have restarted the cam & its not working then there are several possibilities....best to search forum or check one of the guides available on here as there are a few slight differences in line, gift, format & cam to use & it must be correct in order to work

installed whoosh build on 5 boxes now without any problems ..but this one how every didnt work

might start from scratch again

As you are comfortable performing installs...If in doubt starting afresh should sort it :)
