installing line with cam importer and line creator

Hi guys. Just wondering if anyone has had issues putting a replacement, or a 2nd line, on the h.2s using the usb cam importer? I downloaded the line creator from here,pasted my new line details and saved it to usb. Installed usb in the zgemma, followed the instructions, but when the message to say it was completed and mgcam has started popped up, it was still showing the details of the original line that was on the box, not the line i am trying to install from usb. I checked in the settings, usr/keys and that showed that the original line was still there and not the new one. It also showed the same line details in both cam 1 and cam 2 in the softcam menu. Basically, the line currently on the box is a bit unpredictable so i was recommended a few providers on this site, and now im trying to replace the original line on the box. Or even add it as another line and then prioritise it. Would anyone recommend trying inputting manually or just carry on with the usb method untill i crack it? Thanks
 
Cant you just press green, ok on dreamexplorer, ok on usr/ok on keys/ok on newcamd.list and edit from there, then add the connection you want via the cams transfer plugin
 
Thanks for replying. I did try that but after i exited, i looked in softcams and it was still showing original line details, so i went back to usr/keys and the original line details were still there. Unless i missed the promt to save new settings or something simple like that. I'll be home from work in a couple of hours so ill give that another shot. Thank you.
 
Just copy and paste both line details into the one newcamd.list file and use the cam importer.
It will store both lines in usr/keys but how effective it will be i'm not sure.
Probably a good idea to have the best line as the first line in the file.
 
Thanks again. Ive never used filezilla before, but if i cant do it the way you mentioned in your first reply, ill do some research on filezilla and have a go that way.

Thank you all for the replys. Im at work untill midnight so ill try again tomorrow. If i struggle tomorrow then i will download teamviewer and accept the offer of assistance from one of those who offered. Much appreciated everyone, thanks.
 
You can run 2 lines at once using Oscam. It's quite simple to do even tho it's looks complicated. If this is what you want to do let me know and I'll find a link to the guide I used.

Thanks barneygumble. I got my line on ok this afternoon but if you do have the link to the guide,I'll happily take a look so I can put the 2nd line on. Much appreciated.
 
Thanks for the guide. Quick question, why is it that I've read a few posts about asking the line provider if it is ok to use oscam?
