They have been snooping albeit secretly for years so this isn't anything new imo.

Our privacy amongst the ISPs is non existent especially the big ones. Think with the smaller ones they don't put much emphasis on spying on people.

Not gunna happen as people will just a vpn or a proxy or even a smart dns or vpn router so not going to be much use to them when it’s pinging at different locations around world.
Just like when the fbi tried to get apple to release data of terror suspects just hit a brick wall
