IP CCTV

Im thinking of putting in an IP CCTV system, could anyone point me in the right direction, Could do with knowing how the setup works? any decent programs out there, also how to access from my phone

1. Camera Hard wired or wireless to router. SD card inside camera. Control through app or web browser.
2. Camera Hard wired or wireless Router then connected to a nvr with Hard drive. Longer recording times than sd card. Once again Control through app or web browser.
Most camera software has motion detection option or continuous record
Just google IP cameras.

From my experience, most systems come with their own app, so you would be better served doing the research into the system first, then move on from that.

As wheelo has stated. Most company’s have their own software for phone/iPad and PC. There are some generic ones but it’s a bit of trial and error once you have your cameras setup.
I have a few different ones but prefer the Hikvision camera setup with the Hik-connect app. Hi-look is the cheaper version of Hikvision. Most systems will be fully accessible through explorer web browse.
