IPTV android box with recording.

I am running iptv with zgemna Woosh 5. The picture locks up all the time and the timer recording seems to work for around 20 mins. Does anyone know of an IPTV unit that takes a memory stick which will record properly and not have poor quality picture. I know the fire stick using perfect player works well but no recording capability.

Not via the perfect player no,You have said android but wooshbuild is not setup for that as yet i believe
 
Is woosh not setup for recording epg? What can explain the dropouts with the zgemma that I don't get with the fire stick using the same line?

This is likely to do with you only having the 1 connection to the server. If you try recording whilst watching IPTV, then it won't work... It will disconnect you from the server, and then lock up the box
 
No problem with recording iptv on wooshbuild or live pause/rewind.....just as long as the channel has a EPG working.ie if its blank then it wont let me pause,so i can vouch for woosh.
 
You need 2 connections to the server to be able to record.. as viewing takes up a connection and recording a stream takes up another

Hi
I have 2 connections on my mag 256 but still can.t record anything. I have 2 seperate suppliers and both don.t support recording. The picture freezes if i record after 30 seconds momentarily the record icon states its recording..but when i navigate to my recordings..only about 20-30 seconds worth.
If you know an IPTV seller that supports recording can you could pm me pls?

I was talking about enigma 2 devices as it just sees a recording as a second stream rather than an actual feature.
 
Do you need two playlists loaded on the enigma 2 in order to record then?
You would have to change channels straight after you start recording in order to record..is that what you need to do?

I would like to record some streams for keep-sake..but the majority of times..its down to the iptv supplier. Ive yet to find one that works.

As long as you watch a satellite channel whilst recording a IPTV or say if your out leave it on the IPTV channel your recording and put it in to standby it will work fine. I was out last sun for the F1....did the above and it recorded flawlessly,this is of coarse if you only have the one sub.But it also does depend on the supplier.
 
That would explain things. Your using two different sources. So the enigma2 can record iptv on one source input and watch another thats not being streamed ( iptv ).
Thanks for the info..i need to search around a mag box forum.
