IPTV any advantages over Satellite?

Been using the CS method of getting Sly for sometime and its great. Also been using Kodi and free IPTV which is hit & miss but vg for the price. So I thought I would splash out on an IPTV sub which was recommended. Got 2 mths was told I could use it on any number of devices as long as not using 2 at any one time. It is very good but although 95% of channels stream in very good quality I found the sport ie football was not as good as satellite. It didnt buffer or pixelate too much but to me personally the CS wins for football. Having said that last Sunday Sly were not showing the Man utd match so I was able to watch it on Bein. The one thing Iptv does win on is the number and variety of channels + vod. Having said that the free apps on Kodi give you all the vod you can cope with! If the IPTV sub was the same price as my line I would keep it on but its 5 times more expensive so in short have enjoyed the short experiment but its being cancelled on economic grounds. Interested in your opinions.

5 times more expensive, but still about 6-8 times cheaper than a full Sly sub.

Decent IPTV sub is £10-15 per month unless you get a MBOX/Ruya which is about £20 but does include movies/TV series and catchup tv. Ive tried about 5 or 6 IPTV providers and have pretty much settled on one now, get 1200 channels, many in HD and just watched a 3pm in very good HD with just one glitch during the match.
 
The Sly option isnt an option but I agree iptv is a whole lot cheaper. The point I was making is I have a vg Cs provider and funnily enough I watched the City v Chelsea match then the rugby and could have done the 3pm on Irish if I had time and I said to my Grandson we have done well we only had one glitch. I think I have a bargain £20 a year (got it Sept) same as I paid for 2 mths on the other type dont get me wrong if I was well off I would have both!!
