IPTV buggy - issue with my supplier or box?

Hi,

I'm having a few issues with my IPTV subscription, and I'm not sure if there's something wrong with my box, or the server on which my IPTV subscription runs on.

I've had the subscription for around two weeks, and usually it runs fine, but on a few occasions every channel crashes within 10-15 seconds. I can then switch to another channel and it runs fine for another 10-15 seconds before crashing again, so not entirely sure this is an issue with the supplier.

I initially bought the box just before Sky managed to block all the channels, so I tested a few different IPTV suppliers before purchasing a subscription. The reason I mention this is because I have a feeling that, because I installed the channels for a few different trials and didn't delete them before installing a new trial, maybe somewhere the box is getting confused? My IPTV doesn't seem to run through a Plugin. I just press the 'TV' button on the remote and it appears in a channel guide like it did before Sky blocked the channels.

I'm not very knowledgeable about how these things work, so would welcome all suggestions about improving performance?

Many thanks,
Austin

What box are you using? I am getting the same with one of my mates boxes . He had a mb premium micro hd. I set this up for him. It seems to be worse on full hd channels 1080p.

ZGemma H2S. Got 26mb internet speed so that shouldn't be an issue.

One other thing to note is that my channel guide has a folder called 'IPTV', which lists all the channels. The Sports in here are currently down - just a black screen when I try to load them. The news and movie channels work fine.

As well as the 'IPTV' folder, I have other categories such 'UK_SPORT' and 'UK|MOVIES' etc... and it is ALL of the channels within here that work for 10-15 seconds and then crash (including the Sports channels), so not got a clue what's going on!

No I've already bought a subscription and, generally, it's been working fine for 80% of the time, including the sports channels.

Do you know how to use echannelizer?

I would download that and add your box as a new profile (it's free)

Then load up the channel list and check that the service is set to 1 (DVB). I checked one of my boxes yday and it was set to something else and it was buffering , stuttering like crazy. This fixed it.

Reflash your box and start again mate.
That would be my starting point ..eliminates all issues your end then confront supplier.

You said sports channels not working at all isn't there different ones you could try as on mine I have so many of each channel just to see if it's all sports channels if it's crashing every 10 to 15 seconds that could be a provider issue before doing anything I would try to get intouch with your supplier if hes decent enough he might be able to help you shed some light on your problem if not i would do what @Darkavenger89 said and reflash
