IPTV - EPG navigation issue

I have tried couple of IPTV trials and facing an issue with navigation. In the international channels bouquet and VoD where EPG is not available, I was not able to use the selection through the remote. Basically the remote selection (yellow line) was stuck at one place. So I can't really select a channel/video (eg by going up/down). It works perfectly fine when EPG is available (eg UK package). Wondered if anyone could guide me to a solution. 　

I am using enigma 2 box with vix image and kiddac's slyk skin.

zap to a vod channel with noe epg and then push up or down on remote and it should let you browse up and down that way.

Thanks very much. That is indeed a good trick. It works quite well.

If possible, would also like to know if it can be fixed in the traditional way to navigate on the EPG screen itself.
