IPTV help please

Hi Guys,
I'm fairly green when it comes to iptv I just need a small bit of information
I have a vu solo 2se box
My questions are. Do I need to install the xstream plugin first before i get a test from a provider?
If i do need to install it what is the easiest way?? I see something with scripts and using putty to put it in. Is the scripts the subscription from your provider?? Or the xstream plugin its self??
Can't wrap my head around this.

I appreciate any help given.

I'm not much of an expert but I used a programme called vucc and sent xtreamtv as an ipk file to my box. I found it in menu, setup, vix, install local extension. Install it, restart your box. Look in plugins for xtreamtv and there's a code which you give to your provider and he sorts it out his end

Each supplier have his own xtream app so please only install the one that your supplier give you.
For installing please use dcc or filezilla to access the box then upload the app to tmp folder (or any folder of your choice)
From the box side you can jse file explorer and install the app
Then access the app , it will give you an address , send it back to the supplier so you get the test started
Then hit blue button on app to validate

One of my friends asking me to help him with installing the app from his supplier, he couldnt work it out. Once I got my head round the instructions he had been sent it was very easy. Make sure the box isnt showing any menu screens. Load the xtream file on a memory stick, plug the stick in usb port and click ok, I cant remember what screen the ID address that he had tro send back was was on though
