IPTV Keeps asking to update

Not a massive issue just an annoyance, every time I go into IPTV on my ZGemma box it asks to update to a newer version, once the update has finished it then asks to restart. I have seen in the settings that check for updates can be turned off, but will that stop IPTV feeds from being updated?

Yes think so as when I don't update for a while I can't get links

I think by its very nature it has to be updated frequently as links are taken down due to DMCA and stuff.

Thanks, I thought as much.

Do you think this could be scheduled to run once a day at say 4AM? That way it can restart at a time that no one is using it and I can turn off check for auto update?
