Hi All

My IPTV on Perfect Player on Firestick taking an age to change between channels - this has only starting happening over the last month or so , just wondering if anyone else is having this problem ??

I have tried perfect player and found it poor, why not change the app and see if it helps, Smarters or xciptv, Im sure your supplier supports other apps!
 
Perhaps it’s the version you are using, have you checked to see if there’s an updated version.

Could also try running it on a different app on the firestick like smarters to see if that’s the same.
 
Yes i am waiting to hear back from him for Smarters details , is there an App that i could use the same URL's i have for PP to try ?

The url user name and password will fit in most apps, if you want to try Smarters there is a version here, I use this one from troypoint, just type after the http bit. troypoint.com/smarters in the firestick Downloader!

And this will accept my current URL's i am using for PP ?

If you try when it's download ! add user and go for the API option on Smarters and you fill in when asked! The first one I put any name and it will ask for other info just ok it at end and should load!

Dont think thats going to work as it asks for a password but i dont have a password on Perfect Player just URL's for playlist and EPG

Try the other option upload playlist or contact supplier and tell him you are using smarters!
 
Your playlist url has a username and password

Split it up

Url and port first

Username after username in the url

Password after password
 
My URL's are not split like that im afraid , it works if i choose the load playlist or file/URL option to create a user but when i choose Live tv for eg it comes up " No arrangment found " and then when i explore all it pulls through live tv , TVOD and VOD groups into the Live Tv area but does not save them if you come out of Live TV ??

Just contact your supplier and tell him you want to use smarters and he may send what you need to load it!
 
Yes i have done that just waiting for a response , was just keen to explore if it was something i could sort myself
