IPTV Player won't update

Not sure if this is correct forum, apologies if not.

For last couple of days there are "No items to display" when I search for anything in every app on IPTV Player (eg Series Online, Yifty etc).

Tried to update IPTV Player but getting this error;
"problem with downloading the server list from [http:iptvplayer.pl/update/serwerslist.json,
http:iptvplayer.vline.pl/download/update/serwerslist.json].
Update failed.
Check the status by selecting interesting and pressing ok.


Any help greatly appreciated!

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled? Rolled back a few versions? There are folders on your hdd/usb too from the app to consider if all else fails.

Hi bangord30. I'm relatively new to this box and don't have a clue how to do what you suggested. How do I uninstall and reinstall?

open iptv player
goto settings
go down to bottom of list
theres one for iptv updates
i think its set as pre compiled
set this to all
save settings
reboot

then try iptv player again and update it

Hi Biff, just tried that but getting same error message

go into your plugins
red button to remove plugins
remove iptv player

reboot box
go back into plugins
green button to install plugins
add iptv player again

see if that works

Do you have a USB or hdd connected? Know how to view its contents while connected?

have a look in this folder /media/hdd/IPTVCache

forgot to mention did you also set allow downgrade to yes

Yes, allow downgrades is set at Yes.

He told you folder location. Theres a iptv cache folder on your box hdd or usb. You do have one?? If you look in my computer/network on your computer do you see a folder for your box? If not Google and install Filezilla.
