provider admits defeat (well for a few weeks)

I got a notice this morning from a well known provider who have decided to completely block all epl games from today.
You wont even be able to access the games even with a vpn set to another country.
They are hoping that if they do a complete block that their server will fall off the blacklist in a few weeks so that they can then find a permanent fix,

Whoever they are will remain on the blacklist unless they change all there external internet details.
Once on that list then there will be no need to remove them.
Sounds like they are just trying to fudge a few more quid out of people in there hope the games will come back. Unless they can provide a fix as mentioned then change your provider if you want the games.

this is not an excuse i know who it is also, they have been blocking UK Ip's themselves internally due to legal pressure and also curb out UK complaints from customers for a good month or two also.

What a joke. Provider I use has had block already and has also found a solution. They obviously dont know what they are doing and dont have the money to pay for proper protections

Sounds like a good idea, I dont use IPTV that much apart from the odd PPV and usa/ca movies and other live channels. I couldn't care less about 3pm games so why should I have to put up with this block nonsense, Use VPN/dont need VPN anymore change of URL,s going around in circles a new weekend same B.S. I would like to just be able to switch to an IPTV channel without issues.

Sh1te. It's my provider. As already mentioned, blacklist entries don't just magically get delisted. I bought a 6 month sub with them just 2 months ago.
Absolutely gutted.

I got a few things wrong in the updated post, I think they are going to honour the subs on new provider until they are ment to expire.but not 100% sure and cant get a straight answer out of anyone,

Can't even login to there client area anymore

I have had this happen to me and advice is move on and find another supplier.I don't recommend suppliers any more as who knows when the service is going to go bad.All suppliers are having some issues with epl blocks but a lot of them are dealing with it.You never had this hassle in the old sat days,it was faultless for years but IPTV is a very different story.

It makes sense for them. Move as much underground as possible. However, their announcement does not mention coming up under a new name, just that new subscriptions will not be accepted.

They are not moving underground they are closing shop for good got a response from them.keeping the server going for a while for existing subs but can’t renew existing once run out they had a very big push for resellers before Xmas they have been royaly shafted left with all there credits
