IPTV streams take 5+ seconds to start

When changing channel on IPTV the audio plays instantly but the picture takes around 5 seconds to kick in and sync.

Is there any way to change this so that it starts immediately? Once it starts it's perfect.

Running on F1 box, my old H2s was the same. It's not the supplier as every supplier and trial I have ever used does this.

Is it just the way it works on enigma boxes?

Change stream type to IPTV.

And/or activate service app and switch to exte3player.

And, yes it's enigma 2 boxes, most of them anyway

Mines like it I just put it down to the broadband picking the stream up it's like it on my firestick and my zgemma h2s and star 2s

I'm using exte3player and it makes no difference. I've got used to it I just thought there may be a way to change it. Never mind, not a major issue.

if you are using the suls script [or a provider clone] then it is in the option : set streams to iptv type

if you are using xtream editor then update to the latest version and you can cycle through 4 options : dvb [box's default] IPTV, exte3 and GSTE

you can also do it through echannelizer by changing the channel reference, but it is so long since i have used echannelizer that i wouldnt be able to tell you how. I have seen a guide on these forums though, so search around

My provider is a suls clone. Closest option I have is all iptv type....would that be the correct option? It says all iptv type and its enable or disable.

My h2s is the same. I changed my stream type to iptv and ran the script again but nothing changed? It zaps instantly on perfect player on my firestick though. I figured it was just the h2s being a low spec box??

Enable that and then run the script.

You should see a big improvement in zap times

Changed that option, re-installed the channels etc, no difference at all. I have lived with it this long, so I am no worse off. Thanks anyway.

I get this myself but as mentioned its down to the picture coming the way of BB...or so I think.
Its has to buffer a little....5 seconds :)
