IPTV sub on zgemma vs mobile device

Hi

Can anyone put any reasoning to as why a IPTV sub that could be subject to EPL blocks wont work on a zgemma box but will play via a mobile phone.

Thanks

Do you have your phone connected to same internet connection as the zgemma?

I suspect your phone has different ip that Is not subject to blocks? I'm by no means an expert though!

I'd go with that,
using the mobile network data,
I dont know anyone with a 100G mobile allowance to use iptv every month, :D

i got over 100 gig mobile allowance. im with 3 they never said anything to me they say i got unlimited. truly unlimited.

dont they choke you after a certain amount.?
fair usage policy I think they usually call it,
GG do unlimited, but choke you for prime time after a certain amount of usage

Hi Chaps

Sorry for the late reply

Thanks for the input.

I dont actually use a mobile for streaming, i use a zoomtak box or zgemma
My point was, during the PL football i think blocks are in place preventing the streams working without a VPN
The supplier insists one isnt needed, and proof is given with streaming shown on a mobile or a different device.
I was wondering if connected via wifi on a mobile you would have the same symptons

My speeds are always rapid. Three of my mates stream of my mobile connection at work and we can all be streaming netflix Amazon prime YouTube and never any problems. My speed always rapid it was faster than my 52meg bt internet connection i had.

Just seen date sorry for late reply.

Small print:
"If your plan includes an All-you-can-eat allowance, there are no hidden “fair use policies” within the UK – we just ask that you use these for your personal use only and not for any illegal, commercial or improper purposes. Some limits do apply in our Feel At Home destinations – see three.co.uk/feelathome to find out more."

Mate in work has it and had asked me to check it out, as he too thought that there must be a catch, but no.

I’m with Three and I think they’re the only company to do this. In fairness the whole three selling point is geared around data.

I think over the past few years they’ve booked their ideas up tbh and provide a pretty good service and network. Well for me at least as I don’t experience any issues
