Evening, my current supplier does not allow recording and was wondering if anyone knows suppliers who do by PM please. I am streaming on a vu duo+ on openvix and am struggling with buffering and freezing on the VODs and movies aswell. I have been told its because im using vix and not ATV is that sounding.

Any help greatly appriciated as my wife wants to move back to sly.

I have never under stood this
people saying your not aloud to record

i can under stand watching one and recording another
yes

but watching what your recording, how can they stop that ?
the data comes in goes to the box and does it thing, why would recording request another bit of data ?

i think people just say that so you spend more money

I've always had an issue with Watching what I'm recording, what I was told to do was to put the box onto a satellite channel whilst recording an IPTV channel that way you are only using your subscription to record that channel at that point therefore you aren't requiring a muti screen subscription.

hope that helps

Reason being is that it technically becomes 2 connections to their server. Most I know will allow it if you have purchased a multiroom sub

Recording was never supported on satellite, reason is if the recording goes wrong, are does not record, it as nothing to do with the server. there no come back.

As others have said. When watching the recording, you are using 1 stream. For some reason, the way satellite boxes work, they use 2 streams if you decide to record and watch the same stream...

So, if you have EPG setup on the channel, set a recording via the EPG, and it should work fine... (as long as you don't want ANY IPTV channel whilst recording)
