IPTV to PC similar to OpenWebif?

Does anyone know how to access your IPTV channels from a PC, similar to how OpenWebif works with standard satellite channels? What with not being able to record IPTV, there's going to be war in the GOB household otherwise, when Strictly clashes with the American Footy on a Sunday night...

paste the link provided by your supplier into address bar of your browser and click go, this will produce an m3u file.
open that file with VLC player

I didn't get a code. I installed Extreme Editor plugin and gave the code generated by that to my supplier.

i you wanna watch footy on vlc while they watch strictly on zgemma, you're gonna have to ask him for the m3u

Ok thanks. No it's not multiroom. Mrs will be watching on normal telly but my zgemma is also connected to that. I'll email provider and ask him for m3u. Thanks.
