iptv/xbmc

hi if i bought either an iptv or xbmc do i need to hve a server like i would with an skybox f3 ?

would i get all skyuk channels on either iptv/xbmc box.

i have an android box with xbmc installed on it you can get sly sports and btsports on it but they are stream so picture quality isnt that good and no you dont need a server

So you get sk sports and btsports for nothing? What other channels can you get? What's the best box? I've seen people talk about subscriptions. I'm new to it all
