well its come and gone ,blank screens on tvs for many sounds familiar lol,oct 24 2012 analogue service switched off,many people panicked into new tvs for the upgrade thinking they would not get their rte on upc or sky=not affected.
people bought many approved and non approved boxes depending if they wanted the mheg5 service ,one problem arose as they can only record what they watch bummer:no no:,if you bought a combo box for saorview and freesat you can record one sat and watch saorview or record saorview and watch sat.
finally i see a new triax saorview box that has 2 tuners and you can record 2 channels and watch another
finally progress all we need now are extra free channels
