Why not go that few quid more and try an enigma 2 box gents?
Cheapest are zgemma range (starting at £60 for new single tuner coming soon) but all can do roughly the same if u want to spend more. Can record 2 channels or more at a time. And have streaming of online films, iptv etc.
I would never go back near skybox/openbox after trying them.

I never record anything, and for online movies etc I can download em in seconds so I'd rather just save my cash

no probs. I do same and download mostly. Just imho. Having to find, download, edit and manually update the channel changes and the epg every few days, for me, was also annoying. The other boxs do it automatically every night

So that zgemma box auto updates channels and epg but V8S doesn't?

All enigma2 type Boxs are automatic. I havnt had the v8s but I believe so yes. Far as I know its just upgraded v5s which was all manual.
