Just found this box on a site called Geekbuying.com (China). -
MXR PRO RK3328 KODI 17.3 with Add-ons 4GB/32GB Android 7.1.1 4K HDR TV BOX WIFI LAN VP9 HDMI USB3.0 .
The spec sounds good and its £43.19 with free postage & packing (sounds cheap - is it too cheap?). I know its going to take a couple of weeks from China. Has anyone else bought from this company or bought this box. You can buy it on Paypal which would give some protection. Would appreciate any views/opinions before I take the plunge! Check freaktab to see you can put modded rom on. Also check WiFi.
I prefer using amlogic usb program from windows to upgrade these boxes.
Rk - (rockchip i think they called) company bit difficult to update. I think this is rockchip box.

Thanks for your input but can you explain what 'freaktab' and 'modded rom' are I have not got a clue! If it helps I will only be putting my providers kodi build on it for IPTV on a spare tv as I already have tv's with a mag box and another with the siptv app. As for wi fi I hard wire them all.

Freaktab is a forum that has developers for android boxes and they make some decent roms (latest android 7.1.2) better then default one (7.1.1).
They have fixes like loading boost and other features.
Here is example link

That the box i use and with the modded rom by intel.

I use FTMC which is kodi (16.*)and its faster on my boxe. I use atom addon 4k videos and bunny addon i think.

I got my box from ebay, gearbest website has issue with returning goods and they want proof.
My first boxe was faulty the seller sent me a new one :) FOC.

Not experienced in IPTV stuff, i use uktvnow, modbro and showbox, snappy streams. The default rom does support IPTV stuff. Default kodi is called KDMC but i took mine off. Kodi 17 works great but i use FTMC instead. I use pc quiet usb fan to keep the box cool at 45 - 50 c.

I have had 8 - 9 boxes different model boxes but each one gets stuck on android version. For example my m8s box can only be updated to 4.4.2 kitkat and kodi 17 wont install on the box.

Once again thanks, but I really just wanted a cheap box with decent speed for IPTV. If it were possible to use 2 mag boxes on the same subscription I would not be buying this one. Must admit a few years ago I enjoyed 'beating the system' with the early versions of Kodi but compared to IPTV + VOD + a moody Netflix & Amazon, the Kodi addons are a bit like hard work to me.
