Jailbreak Ipad so I can get apps.

my wife has a ipad and my friend says she should get it jailbreaked as she will get all the apps and things free is this true and does it work and is it worth doing

Just done two ipods for the kids,

Updated them to firmware version 6.1.2

Note 6.1.3 seems to have just become available today lol
so I don't know if that is supported yet so used the previous version.

Used Evasion 1.4 to jailbreak. (newer versions are available but I just used
the same versions that where posted in the tutorial)

Says it also works on Iphones and Ipads too.

but our Ipad is only a few days old so will let the kids
try it out on their Ipods first in case there is a problem.

Also tells you to back up what u have before doing it, and it is safe
to restore back to where it was initially if you have any problems.

Oh finally, it's also an untethered jailbreak.

I am comparing with jailbroken phone but i think it is similar with the tablet.
I just don't think a jailbroken apple product is as good as just using it normally. Not sure if it is just me.
