( this is the isue of NOT CONECTED)

ok theses sv6 boxes after weeks of pain (lol) found a web site that can reflash the sv6 and make it work (so they say) and they are going to jtag it and rewrite the chip software

can any one tell us how and what software etc

if no replys by monday will have to take to them to let them fix but would love a chance to do it my self

check out the starview 6 threads and you will find all the info you need. Sorry not got one so cant be much help, But no need to send it away all the info and downloads you need are right here on TK. Depends on where you are as to what software youd need so checkout the starview6 forum and threads!
 
well i have looked in the downloads there is nothing like the software needed
and search this forum for any info there is nothing yet

oh yes there is the downloads are there and there is so much info on the starview 6 and tuts you just need to look. You have managed to download 14 things so far so you just need to check the download section for exactly what you want. If its firmware then its ther but you do need to know which firmware you need there are also as a said tuts on how to and what to do.
 
ok its not a firmware question as you know it ie put 1.03 on usb and go, i have d/l 1.10 1.01 1.02 1.03 at least 3 times each and the combo ones this is not what im asking

skymax 2.2 is a bit of software used to reflash the main chip (not firmware) the only place i have found on the net is Starview Cable boxs Jtag (1,2,3,4,5,The Box,The Box Super & 6 etc.) | UKCS - UK Cable & Satellite
the picture for the 6 soldered wires is not for a sv6 maybe a sv2 etc
just asking has any one done this ? as theres lots of people which have got not connected boxes also sv7 suffer form this

and i think we may have to do this after a year when the cable cardshare runs out because box is year old but thats another post
