Knew i should'nt of updated my box, DESPRATE

Hi all
Last night i did an update on my box through the menu and baically when it ask to reboot it was stuck on boot
So i am not in process of starting from beginning of re installing wooshbuild.
So going by the instrutions, i put USB in the back and switch on box. no luck just says boot left for an hour no luck.. just say boot.
So what can i do.,. is there a hidden Menu to wipe the chipset back to normal.. any help will do.. so far i done

im using a scan disk cruzer USB
use HHDguru to format then windows format no luck
I have no other usb so will try a HDD i have
 
Have u tried unplugging everything from the box (except the mains lead) before reflashing then put everything back in the box one by one

Open the zgemma folder and inside there probably is a folder called H3 - open it and see if there is a file called 'noforce'. If so rename it to force and try flashing
 
I have an H5 folder not a H3?? and it does have a force file

On zgemma what is the spinner. And should i change the settings before updating the box as i know sometimes updating the box can lose your line

The only time you should lose the line is if you do a full reflash.
You should always keep settings backups, full backups and also your line backed up too for those oh crap moments
 
doh - my bad - dggarf is right about folder structure being different for 2s. Think it is called sh1 folder ont he 2s, so make sure you're downloading the right basebuild for the 2s. As djgarf says, Wilo has used bootice to format drives - try his steps
 
Right im downloaded open TV on kiddic website and that flash the box. So any ideas why wooshbuild wouldnt flash??
 
Hi many thanks for that im quite new to this but my main problem is I'm unable to do the computer bit.(I know sounds dumb but i really struggle with computers) so if i ever lose my line i literally have to seek outside help ie teamviewer for someone to put the line back on for me . It only takes a minute but i just struggle with computers
