Have a read of this post, it seems a few people have had similar problems with Sky Q routers and not getting an internet connection.I am trying to set up an android box in my daughters house, it stopped working for her a few weeks ago, before that it worked fine, just does not seem to be getting an internet connection, even tho it says connected, tried the box in my own home and it works without any problems, i am assuming its something to do with her internet settings and isp, getting blocked somehow, maybe something has changed recently, she is on skys broadband, i was wondering if anyone else has had any issues with anything similar recently, any advice most welcome, thanks.
You can change Sky's web safety settings online - https://broadbandshield.sky.com/ but you need to be able to access her account. Not sure why it would have suddenly changed, and it shouldn't be blocking the whole box. It's always worth a try though.I cant get anything on an android box working in my daughters house as of recently, but in my own house everything on the same android box is working fine, i am on VM broadband, my daughter is on sky broadband and it used to work ok, until lately, i have my vm websafe settings turned off, i am thinking that this is the reason, i am sure hers are turned on, but i am not sure as to how it works with sky websafe settings.

To switch off the Sky parental controls, log into 'My Sky' and you can disable them on there.
