Kryptview A780 Can't load bin file

Can anyone help please i have just bought A780 downloaded the loader and the bin file. i flashing it with a null cable using windows xp. i have changed my port setting as shown in instuctions.
When i open the loader and add the bin file press start it comes up in the box saying THE DOWNLOADING IS NOT REQUESTED. Can any help please am new to all this. Thanks
 
It won't load onto box if port settings aren't correct

here are the settings for your com port posted to me by Siol Torcaill


"download not requested" is a com port or cable issue bees .... it means the box and pc aren't communicating .... either a duff null modem cable ... or the properties for the com port are not set correctly.

Added after 10 minutes:

sorry bees ....i forgot to add ... here's what the properties should be ... .......

in device manager right click on the com port and select properties , make sure they match the settings below

bits per second _____________115200

data bits __________________ 8

parity ____________________ None

stop bits __________________1

flow control________________None

Also check that the box wont allow you to flash via the net (some batches sent out can), plug ethernet cable in and press S\W Update in the installation section of the menu.

I had the same problem, altered my port settings,same thing. After much head scratching I rebooted my PC, once ready for the download i left the A780 on (displaying 0000) pressed start on the pc for the download and then quickly switched the A780 off and on with the button at the back. :happy: hey presto!! it downloaded. Hope this helps.
