Kryptview A780 latest september firmware

Sorry, the box is here now and I have downloaded the above file and opened with winrar. Do I now connect the A780 box to my pc before I start on the Code Send page. And should the A780 be powered on or off at this point? Have looked everywhere, but can't find walk through instructions anywhere. Help appreciated.

I read that and watched the video. At no point does it say whether the A780 box should be powered on or on stand by?

how do u connect the kryptview a780 to ur computer
 
paul, just say exactly what you are trying to achieve, what have you done so far, etc
 
basically
iv just bought a kryptview a780 put a scart lead in it to ma telly an an ethernet cable frm ma laptop an the wire i get for signal that was in my virgin box
iv downladed them two files (loader an bin file)
i get up to the bit code send
then i get the message

cant open serial comport 1
please check if the comport has the following parameters
baudrate: 115200 bps
parity: no parity
databyte: 8 bit/data
stop bit:1

now i dont know wat to do am i missin a wire of somethin i guess im doin sumthin wrong but dont know what :/

Now turn off your Kryptview, press Start then turn the Kryptview back on. You should now see the firmware starting to load,:faint::doh:

paul look at the tut closely as what to do,is your pc xp and does it have a serial port,or laptop and vista?

iv successfully downloaded it to my box :) :)
its just a case of gettin the channels on how do i know wat settings to use??

im putting on sky sports an its saying
scrambled or no video :/
 
paul, once u flashed box, do factory reset, plug it all up to net etc. and scan again. make sure ur modem or router not died when changing wires, mine are fussy as hell. should be ok then. also sometimeswhen u pick ur area there is a 1 or 2 try both?
good luck, mine is 90% fine.
 
factory reset first,power off at back for a min,on scan correct net id from direct feed,when all channels channels found insert lan and reboot box and router by switching off and on.
 
i havnt got a clue wat network id to choose how do i know wat ones the right one :s

iv dun all wat u said about rebootin an factory reset an stuff an iv picked my network finally got a list off all the channels but it still says scrambled or no video on most of them
i can watch itv2+1 but not itv 2 :/
an i can watch the basic bbc channels but thats about it no movies or sports :(
sorry to be a pain guys just want this thing to work
