kryptview channels not working right...!

I think i have flashed the wrong firmware onto my box, all channels working fine but scrambling quite a bit, thought it was the signal but tryed in in another house where its working fine and its the same but my cousins box is fine..! Any help how i could get propper firmware for it or clear mine so i can copy my cousins box....?? Thanks if anyone can help
 
to start with what file did you flash to your box,with remote press menu-system info,it should give a date like 24042011 and we can go from there.
 
I put 24042011 on..! Its working a little better now a seen a comment of your's saying to sw update reset factory settings then scan, its made it better..! The channels were coming on just freezing and little squares coming all over it, sorry a dont know what the propper terminology is. My cousins box is working with no probs what so ever and when a pulled mine into his cables it was still freezing. When u do the sw update does that download the lastest bin file...? Thanks for the help..!
 
hey up your quick lol,recheck your connections on scart and coaxial.yes s/w update puts new file on box and the factory reset rescans channels,sometimes network needs rebooting also.
pixelating i think its called.
 
Haha yeah quick cause a hate technical stuff beating me..haha thats a good shout with the scart lead, a played about with it and it seems better again, think al get a new one tomorrow and reboot the network. Thanks very much with the help..! Ur very quick at replying and helping out :-) glad a joined now
