hi my name is harry i just bought my kryptview box and not a clue how to down load what i need so i can scan the chanels read that much stuff now finaly confused myself must be an age thing im 65 not as bright as i used to be can anyone simplyfy it for me would be very greatful ta

hi Harold, welcome along, the first thing is where are you based. I ask this because all areas of the uk are heading towards Nagra 3 coding, and there is no cure for this. have a read in both these threads http://www.techkings.org/general-cable-tv/3885-nagra-3-explained-laymans-terms.html and http://www.techkings.org/general-ca...s-post-if-you-have-received-new-cards-uk.html . at this stage, if you have bought this new, you might be as well trying to get a refund. Sorry for the bad news, but better for you to know now.

hi wheelo thanks for your post first of all my location is fife scotland everyone with cable got new cards my old card was chipped eventually lost all chanels so was forced to put new card in so decided to buy a kryptview box but as i said im finding it hard to download what i need what i did download was bin files and i dont know how to open them any ideas thanks:
