Kryptview Latest Firmware ??

still having no luck with my bo after a factory reset and also switching off for a few minute .. i bought the bo in october and have istalled no firmware !! any ideas

You have not flashed it with any firmware? I believe this is the latest firmware for the "Kryptview A780"

Also when you are making a new thread next time, could you please add more detail into the title? It will attract the attention of alot more people if its specific and your question will be answered alot quicker.

read the sticky threads at the top of the page,
post again if you get stuck, give as much info as poss
about the setup and problem your having,
as dangerous said. if you need to use a null modem
to usb converter lead, they can be a bit tricky but can be sorted out.
If your null moden cable plugs straight into the back of your computer it's a doddle.

you will need 03/12/2011 firmware if it has not been flashed before

Did you used to have the pay channels before the boxes went off ?

was the box giving you all channels before? if so box was flashed by someone and if you factory reset it you have no channels and will need a rescan
on your provider and net id without lan inserted.insert lan when all channels loaded and reboot box modem and router also.

had all channels before never been a problem untill the boxes went off . i'm now getting the sports and other odd channels but no movies so think box/firmware ok ! is it advisable to upgrade firmware or will it be ok as it is and just wait for all channels to come back ??

In that case everything is Ok jimmymacc, your firmware is OK and you have the channels most of us have. Some of channels you have got may be very glitchy at present, lets hope not for too long as Kryptview continue to try and get us all back to normal.

note to all dont do a s/w update as it overloads the servers,if you need to update it please use the cable.

Once you have flashed the box you need to go into the installation section of the menu and select SW Update (ensure the ethernet internet cable is plugged in), let it do its thing and go through reboot, then do a factory reset and then automatic scan (both in the installation section of the menu).

what box have you,dont use pc or torrents as they hog bandwidth ,try powering box off at rear for 30 secs then on ,give it a min then try the s/w online update again.
