files not on any forum and firmware may come from supplier via email,a few members have the hd box.

the box is now running on second firmware SV 1.03, this allow future update via internet.

Firmware does not be loaded to the box as its against the law, you will either get it by email or be told where it can be got from, after you have purchased the box, the loading of the firmware takes less than 10 mins with usb stick, after you load the software all future software updates will be done by yourself via your remote control over the net.

did you read post 8??,loading it is by usb like the starview7 boxes.

@roysrolls, u need to slow down a little and read some of the posts here on Kryptview box.

98% of the channles are working, the only problem is trying to get enough signal in to maintain the quality of the picture for viewing.

Sorry catman65 and all you guys out there ,I am in the process of buying one of these new HD boxes but unfortunally I dont have a Pay-Pal account But I will get one eventually ,I just needed to know if I could set this box up by myself if I am capeable enough ,sorry I jumped the gun I will slow down a bit ,thanks again take care .

Its a simple procedure follow the instructions below and you wont have any problems.

Please follow the instructions below

(1) Format a usb pen drive to FAT32 on your PC first

(2) Then get the file you have downloaded and copy it across to the usb then

(3) Turn the box off at the back and put the USB into the box

(4) Then turn the power back on to the box when the box powers up go to the menu and select Software upgrade press ok

(5) Then allow the box to reboot, after that you will see the cable scan option just scan as with the older box.


Ps if you see on screen usb initializing all the time your USB pen has not been formatted to Fat 32
