Live Premier League Football

skirmish

Newbie
It’s been a great year football wise as my beloved Huddersfield Town have been promoted to the Premier League. I’ve got the home games sorted for the next season as I’ve got season ticket. Away games are going to be a problem as I won’t be able to get away to see those.

Until recently everything was fine with my Skybox but obviously that isn’t now providing my live football anymore.

Can someone please suggest what options I have and preferably without stating the obvious of giving Rupert Murdoch any of my hard earned money!

Obviously paying sly and virmin are options also if you can get virmin (cable) in your area that's not down yet so a compatible box and sub will work. Most seem to be heading to IPTV. This plays on almost anything from your pc to a stick in the back of the TV. Inc. enigma 2 boxes mag boxes etc. If you have a compatible method of streaming TV there is a request thread in the IPTV section you'll get a test there along with instructions on how to put it on your preferred method of streaming.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply.
I'd rather use the large TV for watching the footy so will need a box or stick I presume.
Any advice for one that will do what I want without busting the bank?

Do you have V*rgin Media in your area? if so then you can get a cable box like a H2.H

No Vermin down our road I'm afraid.
Yes, got a lovely Panasonic Viera Smart TV but it uses its own operating system and not android. I presume that rules out using it for iptv?

Can someone please confirm that premier league footy will still be available on sky sports 1 and 2 via iptv? Been reading some stuff that suggests it's been stopped?

The new Panasonic has iptv I use a roku streaming stick £39 in Argos with a plex sever and watch live matches no problem and in English I also use my boxes But the good thing about the stick is you can take it on holiday. Even abroad. If yo can get wifi it works. Sky will still show matches

Sly sport/BT sports plus numerous other foreign channels showing BPL and all other sport are all working on IPTV. Cheap options, personally I use a firestick which works perfectly, but I know there are a lot of 'cheap' boxes out there as well, I'm sure someone can recommend one for you.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
I've had the Mag 250 recommended to me by someone else too.
If I get one of those is it then simply a case of finding an IPTV provider and setting it up and I'm getting what i want.
Also, if I go down that route do I need to have a VPN?

Hi mate.

If you got the mag 250, you would need to get a server to add your mac to their server, you then need to add their portal to your mag, and off you go...

If you need more info, feel free to pm me

As for VPN, not all servers allow VPN usage. It's totally your choice whether you use one though.

With the Premier League, every game will be broadcast somewhere in the world. So with IPTV, you tend to get lots of foreign channels which will show Saturday 3pm kick offs as well.

How new mate? I have a cx680. would I get the app through this? 2015 model

I think it would be wise to sit back until the season starts and trial a few different providers. I think we are going to see an influx towards IPTV when the season starts and I suspect that a combination of overload from new subs and the disruption tactics of the EPL will make it more difficult to get a reliable service. i think it's likely a VPN is going to be needed for starters, and when you add that to the cost of a decent provider its racking up!

Personally I would get an android box with Ethernet port as it's the most flexible. You can run kodi as well as all the usual apps, plus VPN software should you need it.

Hi there just wandering what would be the best option for watching live footy
A hard wired mag box or a amazon firestick through iptv
