Lost mobile any way of tracking location?

My daughter lost her phone yesterday, loads of sentimental photos and videos on the phone. She had no tracking apps on the phone. so is there any hope of tracking the location of the phone with just the imei number?

What phone did she have bud depending on phone there is various ways if turned on and has charge in it

You can also go on google and type find my Samsung for example and login to google account and will ping it

Phone is a Huawei pro 20. It is turned on, she left in silent mode, should still be charged. She had the phone deactivated by the network, imei number has not been deactivated yet.

Also I just went on google and typed find my phone and found it via google as it pinged a location where it was I had left it in a taxi 🤣🤣🤣
