Mag 256 freezing

Hi looking for any help as to why my mag box keeps freezing every 10 to 15 mins and I have to turn it off at the socket to start up again. It's only been doing it the last few weeks I've had it a couple of years and been great, it's not my iptv sub as my boys got an android box and his is working fine .any help on settings or is it time for a new box thanks

Its not the box and will be provider related i would think,Are you aware of the problems suppliers have had in the last few weeks

Yes I am aware of everything that happened, my supplier is someone I know who has got the same box as me so I know it's not that

When was the last time you updated the firmware on the box

I tried updating again tonight but latest and older firmware update is the same anyway

What set up is the lad using on his box

Not sure what you mean by setup he just got me a sub/portal address to type in and that's all I know sorry
