Have added an IPTV sub to my H.2s (it is supported by my provider), everything is working fine with just the occasional freezing on FHD channels which is sorted with a channel change. It’s obvious the H.2s is pushed to the limit with some of the streams so I’m thinking of moving to a dedicated IPTV box.
I still want to retain the zgemma for FTA satellite and recording. The problem is that I have my zgemma distributed to several tv’s throughout the house over a 1 to 4 hdmi splitter so I really need to be able to access everything over the one box. Is it possible to use the zgemma as a slave box of sorts, and access channels/recordings via a mag 256 through open webif? I’ve looked at the zgemma i55 as its enigma 2 based, but really would prefer a mag as they are well supported for iptv and the i55 doesn’t appear to be any faster in terms of cpu power than my H.2s.
