I've got a Mag 254 with an iptv sports sub and all seems to be working fine. i don't have multi room service.

I was wondering if I could take that mag box down to my parents house and use it there on their broadband for them to see a particular sporting event over the weekend?
 
I was under the impression that mag sub are linked to the box using a MAC address. So you should be fine to use it anywhere.

Yes you can plug and play where you like with the mag
 
So I took the Mag down to my mum and dad's to let them see the football match while I was watching it in real life. Plugged it all in, got the wifi connection and reloaded the portal. The menu appeared with all the available sport channels but when I clicked on any of them nothing happened and no video.
I was wondering if it was a broadband provider issue as I'm on EE and they are on BT.
Any thoughts?
