Mag box really that much better than zgemma?

Hi all.
I currently have iptv on zgemma h2s... But I now have to use a VPN to run moat channels...
Just a few questions...

Will mag box channels still be blocked like zgemma?
Is the recording much better on Zgemma? Id like reliable recording....
Is there an epg for mag box?
And what mag box would people recommend?

Any more info would be very much appreciated!

If you have to use a VPN on your H2s to get IPTV, then a MAG box will be exactly the same, as the same block will be in place. The only way round is it for your supplier to put something in place to get round the block or you can switch supplier to someone who isn't blocked.

Also, a VPN cannot be added onto a MAG box, you would have to connect the MAG box to a router with VPN. It's not like a Zgemma where you can add the VPN onto the box.

Recording on a MAG box cannot be done.

EPG can be done on a MAG box, but it is not as full as a Zgemma, so you wont get a full 7 day EPG, but EPG is down to your provider also.

Recommending a MAG box, sorry, can't advise on this, I have never used the different ones. I tried STBEMU which makes an Android box look like a Mag box and I didn't like it, so never bothered buying one.
